N800 Successor?
Any one spot this: http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/10/is-this-the-successor-to-the-nokia-n800/ Nice addition of a slide out keyboard; i would definitely welcome that, being a long term Blackberry user. -- Alan Williamson a wiki -and- a blog @ http://www.Blog-City.com/ b: http://alan.blog-city.com/ ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users

Something more like a Psion Revo or Series 5(mx) would be much better, IMHO. Apart from the video bandwidth the N800 hardware is basically fine. Personally, I'd much rather see the however many hundreds of thousands of dollars in fabricating a new device spent on a massive revamp of the software. Well improving software does not sell hardware as much as new device :-) Personally I'd like to see more devices so we have some choice (and n770 vs n800 is not the choice I mean). I'm not sure there are resources inside Nokia for having two or more maemo based devices but one device with keyboard and one without would be ideal. Current situation when single next device (n800) automatically makes single previous device (n770) obsolete is not how it should be.
