i recently received the following mail related to my registration with
the XML weather.com feed:

"[...]

with the terms of our agreement (please refer to the developer SDK
containing the license agreement – see link below). We are in the
process of updating the Service to programmatically validate certain
licensing conditions. Beginning May 6, 2008, if your application is not
in compliance with these terms, the Service will no longer return data
to your application.
[... a lot of terms/restricctions ...]"

maybe this bug is related to a violation of terms.

Well, it is not supposed to go to bugs.maemo.org since OMWeather is a
separate application, not shipped by Nokia. A bug is already opened on
Garage, in OMWeather module, for this issue.

I'm running OS2008 on an N810. I have omweather installed. It was working
fine
until just the past day or so. Now the icons are all question marks in
circles and the temperatures are all N/A. I haven't installed anything
recently or changed any settings. I get an error "Wrong station code or ZIP
code!!!". I have it set to show West Lafayette IN, Indianapolis, and
Chicago.
All three exhibit this same problem. Does anybody else have this problem?
Any
idea on how to fix it?

I'm experiencing the same issue. The 1-ClickWeather plugin for Firefox
uses weather.com as well, but it's still working fine for me. That
isn't enough to rule out a weather.com change, of course, but it might
help track it down.

I would bet it's some sort of weather.com format change. OMweather says "wrong

Ditto. Using OS2008 on an N810. At first I thought it was the "Update
on Internet connection" with the dodgy overloaded wireless here at
JavaOne, but it'd seem that's not the case.

Only tried updating San Francisco, CA at the moment, not Rugby, UK.
I'd guess weather.com or whomever has changed a format or something.

I have the same issue all of a sudden with ITOS 2007 on an N800 showing
Redford and Plainwell, MI and Zurich. Nothing has been changed recently,
it worked properly this am but not now. Deleting and adding the stations
didn't do anything. No idea what's wrong.

I actually had trouble installing via installer over the weekend and
instead chose the .deb for my dad's N800 which I was rebuilding from a
flash. My N810 seems to be fine with the current weather at the
moment.
