I'm very weary of doing un-installs, it seems some of the packages don't properly un-install, they over un-install; remove more then they should. You could also uninstall the installed version first. Then you will be able to install the new version without problems. Mark, The other way to upgrade would be to open X-Windows, become root, then enter this command: apt-get update; apt-get upgrade The first command updates your repository list, the second upgrades any packages found. the ";" just tells unix to run the second command after the first. Wayfinder Map app won't update
The Wayfinder Map app is showing in my list of updates in the Application Manager, but every time I try to update it it says: "Unable to install. Software contains updates to packages installed from a different source and is likely to harm the system. Contact software author." Does anybody know how to get Map to update properly?
