Our problem seems to be related to the Kingston 2 GB SD-cards we're both using. The touch-screen failures vanished after removing the card. Maybe the changes regarding support for SDHC cards cause the troubles. -- Bye, Andreas ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users

Interesting. A friend of mine upgraded to 4.2007.26-8 yesterday and he had to put it away for the night before the touch-screen was usable. After some failures, my device was working perfectly yesterday. But after switching it on today, the touch-screen refuses to work again. I Think I'll have to downgrade. -- Bye, Andreas ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users

The touchscreen worked fine before and works just as fine now. My N800 has suffered from bug 1069 (Touchpad loss of pressure sensitivity)* for pretty much it's whole life: The screen has been replaced once but this was only a temporary fix, as after two months the right hand side of the screen was again more like a stab-screen than a touch-screen... I was going to take the device to maintenance again on monday. I decided to install 4.2007.26-8 yesterday and the problem miraculously disappeared... the whole touch screen is very sensitive again. -jussi * https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1069 ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users
