So how should noarch packages be replaced? I have a lot of horde- packages
and they all need to be replaced with php-pear-Horde_X packages.
Should I just use the command and ask for the x64 packages to be
removed manually?

Re: [Mageia-dev] Please remove package handbrake

Sorry,

I didn't look closely enough.

The handbrake make file downloads several archives including the
license critical faac, while compiling. So this package should be
removed from Cauldron. Florian Hunold (aka doktor5000) told me, he's
on it together with Ansi to make it build cleanly.

So please remove the existing handbrake from Cauldron.

Thanks,

Oliver

Ping? Somebody please remove it from mirrors.

[Mageia-dev] Packages needing to be rebuilt with freeglut instead of mesaglut

You may add to the spec
"Provides freeglut-devel[==3.7] "

because it provides glut headers and freeglut headers
(in the rpm
- glut.h is a link to freeglut_std.h that are strictly standard glut headers
- freeglut.h is a link to freeglut_std.h and freeglut_ext.h ie extended
headers which bring more functionalities )

(some programs could never be imported in Mandriva because they needed
freeglut and not simply glut to be built ! )

Philippe

This one is only pertinent in Cauldron, wxgtk2.8 wasn't changed in
mga1 i.e. not built with --enabled-catch_segvs; that change in
wxgtk2.8 shouldn't be in mga1, IMO, as it changes the symbols in the
shared lib etc.

>> - Build with wxgtku-devel for unicode support

This one, yes; I think building with wxgtku-devel for unicode support
is better. However looking at the SVN log, dams changed
wxgtku2.8-devel to wxGTK-devel, he may have a reason for the change.
Adding him to CC.

How / where should be explain the way to create the Zoneminder table

Thanks all for your help!

Looks a lot cleaner :)
One little suggestion.
Since you have more than 200 files going to

 %{_localstatedir}/www/%{name}/

you could define a single variable for this.
But that is totally optional.

You'll need a mentor to submit, who'll probably have more suggestions.
I'll try to find you one :)
