[Mageia-dev] freeze push: ldetect, drakx-installer-binaries, drakx-installer-stage2, drakx-installer-images
Hi Please let in ldetect, drakx-installer-binaries, drakx-installer-stage2 & drakx-installer-images. They bring support for installing on Xen (PV). - ldetect: add support for detecting Xen blk & net controllers (mga#9546) Once it's available, please submit: - drakx-installer-binaries: probe virtual drivers too (mga#9546) (install from Xen hd not supported yet but fetching installer from HD is not that usefull when virtualized) - drakx-installer-stage2: fix detecting Xen hard disks (mga#9546) Once drakx-installer-binaries is available, please submit drakx-installer-images (both to core/release and to nonfree-release): it'll include new stage1 binary in stage1 (boot.iso and all.rdz) so that we support installing on Xen. Tested on Xen paravirtualising on legacy (no KVM support) HW. Thx

In order to fix "ERROR: unable to connect to 'localhost:8000'", on needs to set "(xend-http-server yes)" in /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp: Last but not least: - I've fixed qemu-system-i386 path in xencommons service - I made libvirt daemon to suggest dnsmasq instead of dnsmasq-base (fix "Cannot check dnsmasq binary dnsmasq" error)

[Mageia-dev] Help needed with <..> oar

It builds fine on iurt. And now I see why ruby-dbi was missing. It's obsoleted in task-obsolete by Funda, as beeing to old and not working with ruby 1.9. Meaning in a few weeks it will be automatically removed again. Last upstream version was released in 2009 and last git commit was in 2008, so it looks like it's not under active development any more. This also means that oar-admin and oar-webstatus (oar sub packages) will not work. So, any ideas? -- Johnny A. [Mageia-dev] Astronomy packages
Just wanted to get some input from both Fedora astronomy and mageia about which astronomy related packages to package next. I'm working in audela. Also I'll be working on getting mesa as a rpm.
