[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1681632] [NEW] "Old raw" theme doesn't show collection manage button

2017-04-10 Thread Kristina Hoeppner
Public bug reported:

Mahara 17.04 and master

When you view "Pages and collections" via the "Old raw" theme, you don't
see the "Manage" button for collections. The "Edit" button also goes to
the "Edit" screen for the first page rather than the collection details.

How to replicate:

1. Set up a collection with at least one page in it. Use the raw, default,
ocean, modern or primary theme.
2. Switch the site in the "Old raw" theme.
3. Go to "Portfolio" -> "Pages and collections".

Expected result: See the "Manage" button and the "Edit" button that lets
you edit collection details. Instead, you don't see the "Manage" button
and the "Edit" button goes straight to editing the first page in the
collection.

Bug description:
  Mahara 16.04 and 16.10:

  When you use the Modern theme in Mahara 16.04, the link to the author
  (the normal link, not the hover) can hardly be seen as it's too light.
  In Mahara 16.10 it's slightly better as it's in a dark green, but that
  color is wrong as the theme should not have any green links (see
  attachment), but the non-hover state should be light blue.

  It's correct in Mahara 17.04RC1

  To replicate:

  1. Use the Modern theme in Mahara.
  2. Set up a group with submission of portfolios.
  3. Submit at least one portfolio to the group.
  4. Check the submission as group admin.

  Expected result: Author link is light blue when not on hover.
  Actual result:
  - in Mahara 16.04: Author link is white and can't be seen until you hove over
it.
  - in Mahara 16.10: Author link is green.

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1681604] [NEW] Header messages don't push content down sufficiently

2017-04-10 Thread Kristina Hoeppner
Public bug reported:

Mahara 17.04RC1 and master

With the changes to the new theme, changes seem to have been made to the
header. When you are in Default, Raw, Modern or Configurable, the
content is not pushed down enough and the login box for example is right
on the header with two header messages (see attachment). Ocean and
Primary School seem to be fine.

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1678600] Re: Problem with top menus (icons) in 17.04 dev

2017-04-10 Thread Kristina Hoeppner
Hi dajan,

We provide information on how to install gulp in the theme readme. If
you are not using Linux, this may be different. You could just run gulp
rather than make css. I think make css may only work on Linux but not
Mac.

Gulp is the way of automatically updating the themes. :-)

/var/www/html/mahara/lib/mahara.php:266
* upgrade_mahara(array(size 1)) at
/var/www/html/mahara/admin/cli/upgrade.php:53

  The reason is that the artefact.blog upgrade for version 2015011501
  assumes that the artefact.file upgrade for 2015111200 has already
  taken place and, hence, that the table 'artefact_file_embedded' has
  been created.

  This is not the case for an upgrade from 1.9.7 to 16.04.4.

  To work around this I've forced artefact.file to be the first artefact
  to be upgraded, by adding the following code to 'sort_upgrades':

  if ($weight1 == $weight2) {
  if ($k1 == 'artefact.file') {
  return -1;
  } else if ($k2 == 'artefact.file') {
  return 1;
  }
  }

  This is a temporary change to make sure that the upgrade can be
  completed (which it has now done), but reporting here in the hope that
  this will save anyone else having similar problems.

  Tabbing doesnt work completely on safari browser

Status in Mahara:
  New

Bug description:
  Tested on
  Site: https://master-mahara.catalystdemo.net.nz
  Browser: Safari 10.0.3
  Device: MacBook Pro

  I have checked different parts of mahara site including pages, Files,
  Resumes Etc and I found that tabbing doesnt work on safari browser.

  For example when you are on Profile>about me and start clicking the
  tab, it redirects to URL ( selects URL) before finishing the tabbing
  on other parts of the page( If not clear I can explain in person )

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1681573] [NEW] Allow inline SVG support

2017-04-10 Thread Kristina Hoeppner
Public bug reported:

In bug #1681571 the support for uploading of SVG is going to be
implemented. This is a follow-on wishlist item to also allow inline SVG
so the SVG properties can be changed directly in Mahara.

This can take a couple of different forms:

1. In a text box (anywhere there is TinyMCE): Tick a box / flip a switch
to activate inline SVG and then see the SVG properties in the pop-up so
people don't have to go to the text box source.

2. If we also allow the manipulation in an image block add the SVG
properties there once inline SVG is activated.

I would think that the SVG properties manipulation should probably not
happen in the file browser itself as you could upload a black SVG and
then use it as a white one in one page and a red one in another. If we
allow for the changing of the SVG properties in the file browser, we
could only save one version rather than use both.

In reveal.js (at least via slides.com) I can activate the inline SVG
version for images directly on a slide and then go into the source to
make changes, but I'm not saving those changes with the file itself, but
just in the slide properties so I'm more flexible with the file in other
contexts.

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1681569] [NEW] Error from rmdirr() function - PHP dir() failed to open dir

2017-04-10 Thread Robert Lyon

Getting this error when trying to clear cache on paired server

I suspect it's due to one server replicating to the other and locking

  Error from rmdirr() function - PHP dir() failed to open dir

Status in Mahara:

Bug description:
  Getting this error when trying to clear cache on paired server
  deployment. The cache clears fine on one server but fails on the
  other.

  I suspect it's due to one server replicating to the other and locking
  the dir from being deleted.

  The rmdirr() function needs to make sure the dir is readable before
  trying to iterate thru it

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1681571] [NEW] Allow upload of SVG to use in portfolio pages

2017-04-10 Thread Kristina Hoeppner
Public bug reported:

All modern browsers support SVG and so should we in Mahara. Currently,
you can't upload them to an image block because the format is not
recognized.

Bug #1681573 deals with the support for inline SVG for easy manipulation
as a follow-on wishlist item.

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1681377] [NEW] Author link in wrong color for portfolio submissions

2017-04-10 Thread Kristina Hoeppner
