Title:
Search results for Mahara inbox search are displaying too close to
  search button

Status in Mahara:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The styling for the search results when searching through the messages
of the Mahara Inbox notifications produces results displayed too close
to the search button element (see attached screenshot) This may have
happened during the bootstrap 4 upgrade.

  Requirements:
  - An inbox with at least one recieved notification OR an inbox with at least
one 'sent'notification.

  1. Log on to Mahara and click on the notifications icon in the header menu to
be taken to the inbox.
  2. In the search box enter in a string, i.e 'cat' and select 'Go'.
  Expected results:
The results of the search are styled with adequate space to its surroundings
  Actual results:
The results of the search are appearing too close to the button element.

Version: 19.10.dev and on 19.04 (Demo Mahara).

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1846972] Re: Skin text colour defaults should default to the theme colours

Title:
Skin text colour defaults should default to the theme colours

Status in Mahara:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When you set up a skin, the font colours have a "Default" option. That
is not the theme default colour though but the default colour seen on
the page when getting to the skin's page for the first time.

Now that we are having header background images and we expect people
to only want to change that background rather than build a full skin,
it would be better if the "Default" option was the theme default
colours for these options so that the only thing that changes is the
  header background image.

So instead of having "Default" as option, we'll have "Theme default"
and no value saved for the skin as it will inherit the colour from the
theme. This should be done for all colours on the "Text" tab.

  To replicate:

  1. Create a skin.
  2. Change the background image.
  3. Tick the "Default" options for the font colour options.
  4. Add a "Text" block with a link to a page that has the skin.
Expected result: The link is displayed in the theme's regular link colour.
Actual result: The link is displayed in blue, i.e. the skin's default colour.

Deleting comment from page produces a Loading spinner that doesn't
  clear

Status in Mahara:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
The "Loading..." spinner that briefly appears when a comment is
  deleted is not clearing.

  1. Create a page and make a comment on the page
  2. Delete the comment
  Expected Results:
The comment is deleted and the "Loading..." spinner clears
  Actual Results:
The comment is deleted but the "Loading..." spinner hangs

This affects comments deleted from the page and comments deleted from the
"Comment" block.
It does not seem to affect comments deleted via the comments/details modal.

Bug description:
The Mozilla Open Badges Backpack does not exist anymore. Therefore, we
should not be trying to connect to the server and pull badges.
Furthermore, any badges that came from Mozilla Backpack won't be
displayed anymore. It would be good to show a note in the block on the
display and edit screens to that effect to let people know why badges
are not displayed rather than simply not displaying them.

At minimum these things will need to be dealt with:

  - Remove Mozilla as backpack source from config-defaults
  - Remove Mozilla from being searched for as backpack
  - Display a message in the Open Badges block about Mozilla Backpack not being
available anymore when badges had been selected from it (if we keep that
information somewhere in the database). This would be good to have as general
message so it can also work for Badgr and Open Badge Passport if a person
migrates to another site that doesn't have them enabled.
  - Add Badgr as default option into config-defaults if not already there.

Title:
More skin font options for new header

Status in Mahara:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
With Mahara 19.10, we added the possibility to change the color of the
header background or add a background image.

That now means that the header font colour needs to be considered
separately from the block heading colour.

Therefore, the "Text" tab should have the following options, which are
grouped in sections (own panels?) so that they are easier to find.
Nothing changes on the options available. They stay the same:

  Header:

  - Font
  - Text colour (which also goes for links)

  Block heading:

  - Font
  - Text colour

  Block content:

  - Font
  - Font size
  - Text colour
  - Emphasized text colour
  - Normal link colour
  - Underline link
  - Focussed link colour [instead of "highlighted link colour"]
  - Underline link
