[Mailman-Users] Please Help Diagnose
Here is the text of the failure message I get after MailMan gives up: This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim). A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: pipe to |/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/wrapper mailowner thelist_mydomain.com I'm not administrating MailMan, I'm just setting up a mailing list on my hosting company's server. Is the problem one of setting up the list or of configuring MailMan in general. Is anyone else seeing this problem? Is there a fix? I just got 27 copies of the same farging message. Gracias in advance for any insights. -- Mailman-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py
[Mailman-Users] Flooding Admin Account
Help! I'm not sure if it's something I've done (or not done). When someone sends a message to the admin account on the list I've set up (lets call it [EMAIL PROTECTED]), the associated email account gets flooded with copies of the same email. It's clearly stuck in a loop since I eventually get an email telling me that the infinite loop was detected and the process was killed. And yes, I've Read The Fine Manual (and FAQ) and can't seem to find anything there to help solve this problem. -- Mailman-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py
[Mailman-Users] Looping bug: Is it fixed?
My hosting company is running version 2.0.8. I've encountered a problem where email sent to the administrator for the list (i.e., me) goes into a loop that finally gets detected and killed but not before I get flooded with copies. This only happens with the admin account, not to email sent to the list itself. Is this fixed in 2.1? Or in a subsequent patch? Or is this an error on my part. Thanks Stephen -- Mailman-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py
