I doubt I would have ever been able to find the answer. I didn't even know what 'munging' was or what it meant so I certainly wouldn't have searched using it. Thanks again! I apologize in advance because I'm sure my questions below have been discussed over and over. I have search through Google and the Mailman FAQ and the archives. This is created because the original message is in HTML, and when Mailman adds the footer it's added as a separate ASCII text portion of the message. All of this is explained in FAQ 4.39 at http://wiki.list.org/x/84A9. Some people can see it, but some people cannot. Those that cannot see it, get a small file as an attachment (ATT). Am I doing something wrong, or would this be specific to a mail client? [Mailman-Users] Footer question
I'll try this one more time - would appreciate any guidance Hello. I need to append a footer (w/unsubscribe info) to all Mailman messages going out from my server. I need to do this in a way so that it is not possible for list admins to modify the footer. Does anyone have any suggestions? I searched the list archives and found something about using Decorate.py, to do this, but I have been unable to figure out how to make this work. I'm using Mailman 2.1.3 with Python 2.1.3. on FreeBSD. Any help would be much appreciated.
