That would certainly explain it. I do have filtering on and I have noticed that his hotmail arrives as html only -- no alternatives. I had convert_html_to_plaintext enabled and thought that would take care of things, but upon closer examination I realize I am filtering out the text/html before that conversion can take place. Looks like I need to add "text/html" to the pass_mime_types list. Thanks very much!
