[MlMt] SOCKS proxy support?

2016-08-12 Thread Philip Paeps
It seems that there are still networks "out there" that don't understand
that the internet is more than TCP on port 80 and port 443. It's been a
while since I encountered one, but when I do ... it's a pain.

For those occasions, I `ssh -D` to a machine running sshd on port 443
and check the "SOCKS proxy" box in my network preferences on my Mac.

Unfortunately, it seems MailMate doesn't go through the SOCKS proxy.
Can this be fixed? Shouldn't be very difficult.

Thanks.

Philip

I tried setup rules for this but I don't see the rules be applied and
"Apply rules" are greyed out.

Any idea ?

Rules are automatically applied to messages only when they first appear
in a mailbox. To get "Apply rules" to activate you must have one or more
messages selected.

To make a rule fire after it is 3 days old, you *might* be able to
create a smart mailbox that contains messages in the source mailbox that
are 3 days old, and give that mailbox a rule that marks every message as
read.

[MlMt] forwarding photo

2016-08-12 Thread Howard Wettstein
I got an email with a photo included. When I tried to forward it, the
photo was not included. No idea why? Thanks for ideas.

That would be a wonderful feature for some mailboxes of mine!
