The problem is: I only want to see draft mails in drafts. I use an badge 
for not sent mails in the menu bar. If there were also templates in 
drafts I could more likely overlook real draft mails.

Would it work to have a smart mailbox for unread and then set it to show 
submailboxes as desired?

As a work around: some "snippet manager" like for example Typinator. 
Then it would be


1. Reply to message
2. Select all text and type abbreviation
3. Template is inserted (and the template might be a form)

Not perfect but it has its advantages

Me too. I have 2 smart folders for most sources. One with unread 
messages, one with all. MM remembers sorting by date within each.

That would be possible, at least one way, if the [ticket 
1691](https://freron.lighthouseapp.com/projects/58672/tickets/1691-support-find-similar-for-more-columns) 
was implemented.
