Thanks, Sam, that’s just what I needed. I used to know “Cmd-Shift-T” but I guess it’s a feature-not-a-bug that the mind clears out certain data if not accessed for a while. The big obstacle here is that MailMate uses the term “threading” to refer to so many things that it’s tough to find help. How do I call up formatted view for a sent email? Henry Seiden replied: Can you define what you mean by a “formatted view”? I can’t think of a clearer way to ask. Maybe it will help if I frame it as an anecdote. You reply to an email, interlacing your answers in blue. After sending, you re-open the sent mail, and the entire email is in black, because sent replies show unformatted. [MlMt] Two Quick Questions
1. How do I call up formatted view for a sent email? 2. I’ve got a long thread going with someone and it’s torture to expand the threading structure to see recent/latest. One option is to select the original mail and choose “Next Unread Message", but what if I viewed it once? I suppose(?) solution would be to temporarily toggle my Viewer Window to show unthreaded (i.e. newest topmost)….but I’ve got amnesia, can anyone remind me how to do this? [MlMt] Service Shortcut Won't Work in MailMate
I use [Devon’s WordService](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wordservice/id899972312?mt=12) to change case of selected text system-wide. Command-Option-Control-U makes text all-uppercase, and Command-Option-Control-L makes it all-lowercase. It works in nearly every app. But while the all-uppercase shortcut works great in MailMate, the all-lowercase one does not work. I don’t see any conflicting shortcut using Command-Option-Control-L in MailMate, nor any such use configured for MailMate in Prefs/Keyboard/Shortcuts. Help? [MlMt] "Mark As Junk" / "Move To Junk"
I use a Gmail account. How do I mark spam (for the benefit of Google’s algorithm)? MailMate lets me mark as junk, or move to junk. There’s apparently no one trigger to have MailMate do both (though that would seem to be the most common behavior). Do you all do a two-step action on spam, or just one or the other? [MlMt] Smart Mailbox of IMAP flagged messages?,
Hi! I "flagged" a sent message (I did this within Mailmate v1.13.2). Then I set up a smart mailbox for IMAP flagged messages, following instructions here: https://lists.freron.com/mailmate/2020-December/013461.html I set the mailbox rule as expansive as possible, choosing "Any" of the following mailboxes and "All Messages”.
