[MlMt] Can’t enable MacVim
Hello I’m running the latest beta, have enabled the MacVim bundle and installed the latest MacVim from github. Also set it to invoke automatically using the defaults write command but for some reason nothing happens and i’m unable to edit messages with it. ^O does nothing, neither does MacVim-> Edit from the menu. [MlMt] Crash when accessing "Open with"
I have a repeatable crash in version 1.13.2 of Mailmate. If I right click on any attachment and select "open with" it hangs for a few seconds trying to load the context menu and then crashes. If I do the same thing in the Finder it shows the application list without a problem. Anyone else seen this behaviour? ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com https://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
[MlMt] Junk folder
Hi Is there a way I can remove the Junk folder? There is no such folder in my IMAP account but MailMate seems to insist on having an immutable Junk folder. I’d like to remove it because my homegrown spam filtering system is almost perfect and I’d rather not have more than one place to look for messages. [MlMt] MailMate 1.9.5 - how to get old functionality back
Hi, I've upgraded to MailMate 1.9.5 because of the better support for Sierra but I'm not very keen on the new features. 1) How can I get the old functionality back where I can easily view the headers (from/to) for a message using the little arrow to expand them? It seems completely gone. Weirdly messages in my junk folder show this information all the time but again there's no way to conceal it. 2) How can I disable the new inline html preview page when replying to html messages? It seems to make the reply button take several seconds to bring up the editing dialog and I really don't care about sending HTML anyway. Apologies if these are trivial questions, I've been through the preferences but it's not obvious how to solve them. Re: [MlMt] Replying to a group message
On 1 Sep 2015, at 11:09, Benny Kjær Nielsen wrote: And I guess the answer is “no” then. I cannot think of a way to make that work. MailMate does not prioritize email addresses with a matching domain when a match is not found. Using the above I would expect your from address to become `l...@orange.com`. Maybe MailMate should prioritize domain-matches, but I'm not sure if that would be bad in other scenarios... Yeah, now that I've corrected the regex it comes up with l...@orange.com as an unknown identity. It'd be nice if we could associate regexes with identities, eg From .*@orange.com => Reply with m...@orange.com. Suppose I'll have to submit a feature request. Make sure you understand the email address related settings described [here](http://manual.mailmate-app.com/account_setup) and if it doesn't do what you want then try sending me a more detailed example (and maybe an example message). You can send it off list to protect your email addresses. Apologies that I didn't explain this very well. Here's a more detailed example: I have one IMAP account with several email adresses on several domains, eg: m...@banana.com * ma...@banana.com st...@banana.com m...@orange.com The first address (*) is the first email address in the list and therefore the default. I am a member of a mailing list for which the address I receive messages on is l...@orange.com. If I reply to one of these messages, it defaults to m...@banana.com rather than m...@orange.com. I have defined an address pattern of: *@orange\.com which I thought would fix this but apparently not. Hi, If I receive a message to a group, say: st...@mydomain.com, and I have an alias set up for the same domain as say, m...@domain.com, when I click reply it defaults to the default email address rather than using the one that matches the same domain. Is there a way to make it default to the first address on the same domain? Thanks, Mark ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com http://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
