[mailop] Anyone else email see email delays to cox.net today?
We saw email delivery delays to cox.net today, between 12:58 and 7:32 pm (U.S. Central). Our email server logged the following for each of them: Site cox.net (68.6.19.3) said in response to MAIL FROM (452 4.1.0 ESMTP server temporarily not available - Refer to Error Codes section at http://postmaster.cox.net/confluence/display/postmaster/Error+Codes for more information.)" Site cox.net (68.1.17.3) said in response to MAIL FROM (452 4.1.0 ESMTP server temporarily not available - Refer to Error Codes section at http://postmaster.cox.net/confluence/display/postmaster/Error+Codes for more information.)" The web page doesn't address this specific issue (ESMTP server temporarily not available), so I assume what it says at face value. No hints of issues on Twitter or DownDetector. Re: [mailop] antispam service recommendations?

We've tried a few services so far and our testing has found serious deficiencies. Requirements: * hosted or virtual appliance * quarantine with management (auto-purge options) * prefer content based filtering over RBLs, having serious false-positive issues with RBLs - bonus for being able to enable/disable individual RBL's by domain/user * tag-only mode * user defined white-lists * anti-virus filters * API * white-labelling a plus but not a requirement Any feedback, experiences recommendations would be appreciated. My work has had pretty good success with Roaring Penguin Software's CanIt, which is basically much open source stuff with a nice web front-end. I believe it ticks all the boxes above. https://roaringpenguin.com/ -- /* * * Otto J. [mailop] Spameating Monkey RBL Issue?
Fortantispam sent an email to its marketing list this afternoon: We are seeing reports of issues with the RBL list called Spameating Monkey. We recommend that you remove the list until further notice to avoid any email delivery issues. I know this is not a spam control list, but just in case you are using it and seeing issues, here's another data point.
