Re: [mapguide-users] MGOS 1.2.0 Filter On Joined Field

2009-11-23 Thread Bruno Scott

I've just tried a filter on 2 joined tables
  primary SDF Secondary Oracle
  primary SDF Secondary Access
Both failed, does not show any record as soon as a set a filter on a
secondary table field.
I've tested against mapguide 2.1 Beta and Mapguide Enterprise 2010

Maybe we should reopen ticket 292

Re: [mapguide-users] MapGuide Open Source 2.1 released

2009-11-23 Thread Andrew DeMerchant

Just installed this and tried it out with my library from 2.0 - at
first glance, this looks like a really great release!!

- GDAL is included (and works out of the box!)
- Fusion is nice and fast now (only takes maybe 1-2 seconds longer to
load than AJAX)
- The addition of cursors for all tools in the AJAX viewer is great!

Anyway - I just wanted to say, great job!! This is a great release!
(I've so far got only one issue with this new release, which I'll send
a seperate email about.)

RE: [mapguide-users] MGOS 1.2.0 Filter On Joined Field

2009-11-23 Thread Dave Wilson
This looks like a new defect. I just tried this and got an exception:

2009-11-23T13:08:52 2028Ajax Viewer 144.111.170.113 Administrator
Error: Failed to stylize layer: LayerDefinition76
An exception occurred in FDO component.
Failed to execute query.
 StackTrace:
  - MgMappingUtil.StylizeLayers() line 791 file
d:\build\testarossa_nightly\build_37.1\ent\os\server\src\services\mapping\MappingUtil.cpp

It appears to be a problem using the secondary columns in the filter.

In fact it's been broken for a while, possibly since FDO G052 or earlier.

Re: [mapguide-users] Help with the Tooltip

2009-11-23 Thread Kori Maleski
If you are using a Fusion Web Layout, you can make changes to the MapTip css
file to control the display:

C:\Program Files\OSGeo\MapGuide\Web\www\fusion\widgets\Maptip\Maptip.css

And/or you may override them with your layouts own css.

Cheers,

And Windows XP is not suitable as a server operating system. With 20 users,
you'll easily exceed the maximum connections allowed.

Jason

it all depends on what your map is like, your server should be is capable,
but it depends on things like using a base (tiled) layer and how complex
your data is and the number of layers etc

I don't really know how to check the signature of the layer and to

How can I fix the error from the log file?

Try saving the temp layer and featuresource in Library:// so you can
 examine them from Studio/Maestro.

you need to refactor your map, to make it perform much faster
