Thank you for writing a clear and concise statement of the problem
with small code sample, and showing that you'd done your "homework".

That, ladies and gentlemen, is how to get help in an open source project!

Yes, I think you are just hitting the point! :)
maybe I need to set the scales to generalize some layers and try again.

just raster data? is your data too detailed, ie you
can generalise you data to match the scales your
rendering...

you should be looking at using at least a dual quad core
server for that size of a map

how long does it take to render a map in the browser?

[mapguide-users] Re: UpdateFeatures and CLASS_NOTFOUND error

2010-04-01 Thread Mauricio Villablanca

I think there's something wrong with your filter. Try this:

$filter = ' "EVENT_DESC" LIKE ' . " ' " . $oldDeviceCode . "
'";

The property has to be enclosed by double quotes and the value by single
quotes. Assuming that property is a string. If it's a number, you need to
get rid of the single quote.

Think you may need MgLayer->GetFeatureClassName() rather than GetName().

We are using PHP on IIS7 with a modified Fusion Layout. Basic look and
feel. Needs more work in the beautification department.

Widgets use standard Fusion functionality as well as custom OpenLayers
functionality.

Google Maps Integrated along with Streetview complete with draggable marker.
Print support for most ANSI sizes.

[mapguide-users] MapGuideOS 2.1 (IIS, ASP.NET) on Windows Server 2003 x64

2010-04-01 Thread CJB

Does anyone know how to get the Mapviewer portion to work in Windows 2003
Server x64 with IIS 6.0? Everything else seems to work except that MapViewer
comes up with a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. Prior to that, I had run a
fix in Microsoft KB article

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/WindowsServer2003/Library/IIS/405f5bb5-87a3-43d2-8138-54b75db73aa1.mspx?mfr=true

which allows IIS to run 32-Bit ASP.NET on Windows 2003 x64. This is what I
to do get Maestro to work.

Anyone out there encountered the same situation?

[mapguide-users] UpdateFeatures and CLASS_NOTFOUND error

2010-04-01 Thread Andrew P

Hi all,

I am attempting to modify a selected feature based on the user input. The
code snippet below occurs after the user has provided the update to the
system. I am getting the following error and can not figure out how to fix
it, 'An exception occurred in FDO component. SDFPROVIDER_75_CLASS_NOTFOUND
Exception occurred in method MgServerUpdateFeatures.UpdateFeatures at line
97 in file ServerUpdateFeatures.cpp'. It appears to be related to either
the class name provided to the MgUpdateFeatures constructor or the feature
resource provided to UpdateFeatures function. However, since these are
built using the class name and feature resource (respectively) from the
layer on which the selected feature is located I don't understand how it
could not find the class, whatever that is. I am using SFD OSGeo provider
and MapGuide 2.0.
