Re: [mapguide-users] unable to logon Mapguide : ACE.dll failed

2017-02-06 Thread Rémy Gourrat
Hi Jackie,

I check it and check it again : ACE.dll is in the path.

I uninstall many times iis and mapguide 2.5.2, each time it was the sames
messages in maestro/mapadmin and windows event log.

I tried with mapguide 2.6.1, sames messages, i tried with instant setup for
2.5.2 and 2.6.1, sames messages.

Finally, i tried with 3.0.0 and 3.1.0 and it's running !!

I think this is an issue with WINDOWS 8.1 and 2.5.2 and 2.6.1.

I need to install mapguide 2.5.2 for application compatibility.

someone have an idea to workaround this issue ?

Re: [mapguide-users] unable to logon Mapguide : ACE.dll failed

2017-02-06 Thread Maximino Roza Candas

Hi Remy

I've a similar issue a couple of months ago,

I've installed 3.0.0 but I wanted to change it to 2.5.2 for
compatibility.

Then I’ve found that for running again 2.5.2 I needed to install it
in a different path of the previous 3.0.

In other words :

If you've installed  3.0.0  in c://mapguide.

You need put 2.5.2 in another path : c://mapguide2 ; not in the
same like the previous that obviously also should be uninstalled.

That it works for me.

Hope it helps.

Thanks Roza,

I will try this immediately but I’m not optimist because I did it with instant

[mapguide-users] MapGuide Maestro 6.0M6 available

2017-02-06 Thread Jackie Ng
Hi All,

I've made a new milestone release of MapGuide Maestro 6.0. This is the first
release from its new home on GitHub, delivered automatically through the
AppVeyor Continuous Integration/Delivery service.

A summary of changes can be found on my blog post.

http://themapguyde.blogspot.com.au/2017/02/announcing-mapguide-maestro-60m6.html

Download:

https://github.com/jumpinjackie/mapguide-maestro/releases/tag/6.0m6

As mentioned before and it bears repeating: Please file any tickets
(bugs/enhancements/etc) on the GitHub project site instead of the MapGuide
Trac instance.

Another thing worth repeating (one of the main reasons I've moved this code
to GitHub): Pull requests welcome!

2017-02-06 Thread Jackie Ng
I just installed 2.6.1 on my Windows 8.1 laptop. No issues.

I can only suspect you must have some residual trace of an old MapGuide
installation lying around.

 1. Do you have old MapGuide installation directories on the PATH
environment variable?
 2. If you run Process Monitor and listen on mgserver.exe or w3wp.exe, is it
loading the correct ACE.dll?
 3. If you run Dependency Walker and load ACE.dll, are all of its
dependencies satisifed?

No problem. The solution for Ajax viewer is similar. Please modify the
following codes.

C:\Program Files\MapGuide\www\viewerfiles\propertyctrl.templ

function SetProperties(count, properties)
{
var code;
propCount = count;
if(count != 1)
{
var text;
if(count == 0)
{
text = "__#PROPERTIESNONE#__";
GetMapFrame().SetPropertyPaneToolbarVisibility(false);
}
else
{
text = GetMainFrame().FormatMessage("__#PROPERTIESITEMSEL#__",
new Array(count, "unused"));
GetMapFrame().SetPropertyPaneToolbarVisibility(true);
}
code = '
' + text + '
';
}
else
{
code = '
 __#PROPERTIESNAME#__   __#PROPERTIESVALUE#__';
for(var i=0; i < properties.length; i++)
code += '
 ' + properties[i].name + '' +
HtmlDecode(properties[i].value) + '';
code += '
';
GetMapFrame().SetPropertyPaneToolbarVisibility(true);
}

SetContent(code);
}

.

var _el = null; //Our "parser" element

function HtmlDecode(input)
{
if (input == null || input == "")
return input;

if (_el == null)
_el = document.createElement('div');

_el.innerHTML = input;
return _el.childNodes[0].nodeValue;
}

This is so annyoing. I have same problem in three different servers I
have(win 7 and win 10 and MG 3.1).
Strange is when using Sheboygan sample then react layouts working as it
should.
But when I use my own made maps then react not working. Maybe this is some
some CS problem.
I use EPSG:3301 and 3857. Sheboygan uses 4326 but also 3857 and both
working.
Somebody have any idea, whats can be wrong?

When I replace the two functions in propertyctrl.templ, my webpage doesn't

I will suggest you undo the modification, and just add function HtmlDecode()
function first.
var _el = null; //Our "parser" element
function HtmlDecode(input)
{
if (input == null || input == "")
return input;

if (_el == null)
_el = document.createElement('div');

_el.innerHTML = input;
return _el.childNodes[0].nodeValue;
}

Then, make sure your HtmlDecode(properties[i].value) the property values.

Please open the Ajax viewer in the web browser, and right click to inspect
the elements, and let me know if there are any error messages under the
Console tab.

OK. That code solution fits my scenario. When I paste these two functions into
"propertyctrl.templ", replacing the original versions, my map viewer window
freezes up. I imagine there is a problem properly loading the
propertyctrl.templ file and it freezes the map window load.

we're currently running maguide 3.0 on centos 6 both 32 and 64 bits.
We use OGR Provider with PostgreSQL 9.4/9.5/9.6.
We have recompiled libgdal to enable postgresql support.

Our setup works and is reasonably stable if load is not too high.

Hi,

Roza : with a setup with virtual directory mapguide2 and harddisk mapguide2,
Error 559 in maestro and mapadmin is failing with always ACE.dll module path
failing in windows log event,

Jackie : with depends walker,

  1. Do you have old MapGuide installation directories on the PATH environment
variable?

No, it’s a new system and it was before the first installation (now, there were
lot of install/uninstall…)

  1. If you run Process Monitor and listen on mgserver.exe or w3wp.exe, is it
loading the correct ACE.dll?
Yes, for the twice : mgserver.exe run with the ACE.DLL in the mgserver.exe
directory, w3wp.exe run with the ACE.DLL in the mapagent directory, php-cgi.exe
run with the ACE.DLL in the php directory

 3. If you run Dependency Walker and load ACE.dll, are all of its dependencies
satisifed?
For 2.5.2 : API-MS-WIN-CORE-KERNEL32-PRIVATE-L1-1-1.DLL,
API-MS-WIN-CORE-PRIVATEPROFILE-L1-1-1.DLL,
API-MS-WIN-SERVICE-PRIVATE-L1-1-1.DLL depends tell are missing

But it’s same for 3.0.0 and 3.1.0 that are turning good !

MapGuide 2.5.2 and newer require .net 4.0, on my windows 8.1 it’s.net 4.5, can
it be the reason ?

For information, each time I start the mapguide 2.5.2 service, I have this
message in error.log :
