Re: [mapguide-users] Mapguide 4K issue

2019-12-11 Thread Basques, Bob (CI-StPaul)
Try making the browser half screen size and see if that works? Then keep
increasing in size until you get a null image/error return. There are default
image sizes that are typically set in most WMS services, and 4K has been
typically more than historical default values.. These may be set to some limit
that you are surpassing.

Re: [mapguide-users] mapguide-react-layout 0.9.5 released

2017-08-01 Thread Basques, Bob (CI-StPaul)
All,

Just a thought here, but I wonder if GeoMOOSE(3.0) might not fit in here as an
option as well.

It’s been completely refactored with React, Redux and OpenLayers4 in the last
few months. Version 3.0 is just about ready to go out the door.

Depending on the Mapguide service hooks, it might provide for a nice jump point
into an upgraded Viewer.

Loads on the slow side, but tolerable. Aerial tiles seem the slowest.

2015-12-23 Thread Basques, Bob (CI-StPaul)
I’m a lurker on the List. I use MapServer for all my Aerials via a backend
Pyramided data structure. The general idea is to set up the service to only
drop pixels and reduce the amount of pixel interpolation required.

Basically the calls should always be using a pyramid layer that is at a higher
resolution than desired output resolution.

You could incorporate MapServer as a WMS source in this way.
