[mapguide-users] MGOS2.0 and libmysql

2009-08-31 Thread Philippe Reinhart
Hi,

Windows server 2003 + MGOS2.0 + Mysql 5.0.27

I am trying to connect to a Mysql database using Maestro, but I always
get the same error message:

The remote server returned an error: (559) MgFdoException.:

An exception occurred in FDO component.

The runtime was not found (module LIBMYSQL.dll). Please verify your
mysql client component installation.

Exception occurred in method MgFdoConnectionManager.Open at line 858 in
file
d:\build\mapguide_open_source_v2.0\build_30.11\mgdev\server\src\common\m
anager\FdoConnectionManager.cpp

However, I copied libMysql.dll in bin and bin/FDO on the mapguide server
folder.

I also checked that the folder containing libMysql is in the Path var,
but still that doesn't work.

Please help me!

Phil

[mapguide-users] Can't connect MySQL with MapGuide Studio 2007

2008-08-12 Thread Philippe Reinhart
Hi,

I have a Windows 2003 server with MySQL 5.0.27 Community.

When I try to create a connection to this server (using the IP or the
name of the machine), I get an error message :

An exception occurred in FDO component.

RDBMS: Access denied for user 'foo'@'my_machine' (using password: YES)

I downloaded the last libmysql.dll and copied it into the FDO\bin
directory, as I read here and there that it solved the problem for some
persons.

I am sure of the login:password, as I checked directly in mysql command
line. This login:password works perfectly.

Ths skip-networking is on OFF, so I guess that should not be a problem.

Any idea ?

Phil
