Hi padmini, the error concerning the path of you webconfig.ini is strange. Have you installed http://mapguide.osgeo.org/download/releases/2.0.2 the windows binaries? You have to do this and you must import the sheboygan example package. You must realize that the dotnetviewersample is not really state-of-the-art asp.net code. so it works like old asp coding stuff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_Server_Pages). So it is not debuggable within the visual studio. Please read http://www.nabble.com/Create-a-Visual-Studio-2008-Solution-of-dotnetviewersample-to18235849.html#a18235849 this thread . [mapguide-users] Firefox3, ajaxviewer & printablepage.templ
Hi, I am working on Windows XP with asp.net on a ajaxviewer application. To get the ajaxviewer run in firefox 3 I found a fixed mapagent.exe, isapi_MapAgent.dll and modified ajaxmappane.templ. The problem is the requester.open("Post", webAgent + reqParams, true);, which has to be a GET in order to show the map within the firefox. But the printablepage.templ seems not to be fixed untill now... I tried the following, but it does not work ... there is still only a printable page displayed without map ... var requester; if(msie) requester = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); else requester = new XMLHttpRequest(); var reqParams = "OPERATION=GETVISIBLEMAPEXTENT&VERSION=1.0.0&MAPNAME=" + encodeURIComponent(mapName) + "&SESSION=" + sessionId + "&SETDISPLAYWIDTH=" + mapWidth + "&SETDISPLAYHEIGHT=" + mapHeight + "&SETDISPLAYDPI=" + dpi + "&SETVIEWSCALE=" + scale + "&SETVIEWCENTERX=" + centerX + "&SETVIEWCENTERY=" + centerY + "&SEQ=" + Math.random(); requester.open("GET", webAgent + "?" + reqParams, true); requester.setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"); requester.send(reqParams); if(requester.responseXML) { if(ValidateMapResponse(requester.responseXML.documentElement)) document.getElementById("mapImage").src = webAgent + "?OPERATION=GETMAPIMAGE&FORMAT=PNG&VERSION=1.0.0&SELECTION=&MAPNAME=" + encodeURIComponent(mapName) + "&SESSION=" + sessionId; } Any ideas are welcome ... [mapguide-users] Create a Visual Studio 2008 Solution of dotnetviewersample
Hi, I downloaded the dotnetviewersample and want o make a Visual Studio 2008 project of it. After copying the sample code to the VS-www directory and the MG-dlls to the bin directory, I opend the directory as Website. Trying to compile, I came across the following problems ... 1) Type or Namespace JsonObject was not found => I took the proper namespace Jayrock.Json ... works! 2) File \query\property.aspx could not be found => not strange, because it is stored in the directory \query\classes\property.aspx ... but where is this path stored?... in a binary? I have not found it in the code and moved the file in the directory above ... dirty but works ... 3) The path /utilityfunctions.aspx could not be assigned. ... found some wrong include paths, but can't eleminate this error ... any ideas? A downloadable Visual Studio website solution would be great ... ;-) Has anyone experiences with the asp.net development server? I don't want to install IIS on my development machine ...
