Re: [mapguide-users] Mapguide 4K issue
Hi! I know I am replying to an old post, however I figure its better I ask my questions here first before starting a new on the same topic. My collegues are increasingly starting to use very broad screens, and the WMSes that I add to mapguide turn out pink... My WMS-provider said that their image size for the WMS is limited to 4096 x 4096 pixels. Is there anything I can do in Mapguide Maestro to accommodate this in the case of large screens? So that they do not need to fiddle around with browser size? Re: [mapguide-users] Mapguide 4K issue
Thanks! I tried to reduce window size and WMS layers become visible, this is indeed related to wms layer default values like you have described. -- Sent from: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/MapGuide-Users-f4182607.html ___ mapguide-users mailing list mapguide-users@lists.osgeo.org https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
Re: [mapguide-users] Mapguide 4K issue
Try making the browser half screen size and see if that works? Then keep increasing in size until you get a null image/error return. There are default image sizes that are typically set in most WMS services, and 4K has been typically more than historical default values.. These may be set to some limit that you are surpassing. bobb > On Dec 11, 2019, at 9:09 AM, Kajar wrote: > > Think Before You Click: This email originated outside our organization. > > > Hi! > > I'm experiencing strange issue using Mapguide map application in 4K monitor. > Problem: when I open map in 4K monitor then WMS layers are not become > visible. > For FHD monitor or viewing it in laptop screen those WMS layers are visible. > At first I thought its some browser issue, but currently same same issue > happens with Chrome and also Firefox. [mapguide-users] Mapguide 4K issue
Hi! I'm experiencing strange issue using Mapguide map application in 4K monitor. Problem: when I open map in 4K monitor then WMS layers are not become visible. For FHD monitor or viewing it in laptop screen those WMS layers are visible. At first I thought its some browser issue, but currently same same issue happens with Chrome and also Firefox. Of course I use latest browser versions, maybe this is the source of issue. Actually previously(with my old laptop) I was able to see those WMS layers in 4K resolution without issue. Cant figure out is it still some browser issue or what else it can be. Maybe enyone else have experiencing same problem and found some fix for that.
