MI Pan.MBX free download

2000-09-01 Thread George de Greef

Hi MapInfo List,

Its Spring day here in the South. So we are giving away a free map
navigation toolbar called Pan.MBX which users can download from
the Free section of our website.

The toolbar is especially useful for close-up work across entire
datasets (such as cadastral registration over aerial photography,
topographic map heads-up digitising, etc)

Regards,
George

Hi Andre,

We wrote a MapBasic utility to do this sometime ago:

MI SUM Label Expression - a better method

Here is a neat solution to the problem of suppressing labels for
values of zero:

In layer control, go to the label dialog and choose Expression...
Type in Format$(xyz,"#")
where xyz is the name of the column containing the values you
wish to see (zeros and non-zeros)
Choose a font, color, etc and check the result!

George

MI new email and website

1999-10-29 Thread George de Greef

Fellow Mappers,

ComputaMaps have launched their new website at
http://www.computamaps.com

We have created an impressive inventory of African geospatial data
products, including topographic maps, digital terrain models and
clutter data (used by the telco industry)

I will be attending the MapInfo Partner Summit in Florida 10-13
November with sample datasets, catalogues and product
information.

Thanks & regards,
George
