MI Limit of 256 custom symbols
I am developing a system that requires hundreds of custom symbols and have discovererd that MapInfo 5.0 has a limit of 256 custom symbols. Can anyone confirm this or advise how to over come this problem? Is it them? Is it Us? or, Is it just Me? MI FREE Y2K Unit Mapbasic Code
This is totally free, a must for all MapBasic programmers. This MapBasic source code enables you (the developer) to perform validation and integrity checks on dates entered into dialogs by users. The code checks the date string for a four digit year, none date characters, string to date conversion, blank entry, string length, and also future or 10 year tolerance. This is especially important to ensure your system is year 2000 compliant/capable. The download includes the Y2K_unit.mb, Y2K_unit.def MapBasic source code, also the black box test code, a sample program and instructions. http://www.users.bigpond.com/rambia/index.html Patrick McShane Rambia Pty Ltd, AustraliaGeographic Information SystemsSystem Analysis/Design, Programming and Data Analysis
