Title: Antigen found =*.* file

Anyone
know what this is? I must have received a dozen copies.  I delete and it
keeps coming back! I'm worried its some kind of virus
activity?

MI Virus alert

2000-02-18 Thread Richard Duncan

Hello
All:
Our server got hit
with a virus last night which resulted in a propagation of e-mails that
shut the system down. E-mails in Outlook with an attachment with filename
"Links.vbs" and have "Check This" in the subject line should be
deleted without opening.  Still trying to figure out where it came
from.  This message from our ICS guys:-

"I want
to stress the importance of deleting all messages in your inbox
with
"check this" in the subject line. Our
scanning software has been fixed so that these won't get through now, all you
will
see is a message saying that it's been deleted.
What this virus does is when
you launch (double-click) the attachment, it goes
into your Outlook contacts
and sends itself to what looks to be all of them.
This outbreak was pretty
widespread last night, we got it from two different
places within minutes of
each other which started the flood of e-mails you
saw. Anyway, please
e-0mail the helpdesk or me if you need any help
getting rid of these
messages"

Subject: MI Algebra / Thanks

I would like to thanks to all of you who answered my request about
"algebra".

Although the solution was very simple, it wasn't so apparent to me because I
don't have MB and my approach was to check the help file. It doesn't have
any mention to mathematics functions other than those present as mathematics
operators for queries. Any way or another I got my little problem solved.

Thanks
