MI Drat! Symbols and size

1999-09-27 Thread Shannnon Skistad

I have created a bit map of a circle with four quadrants. I would like
this circle always to have a radius of 4 km. Every time i zoom in, the symbol
loses it'S 4km size. I would also like to rotate the symbol to a specific
degree. HOW ON EARTH DO I DO THIS? I have really very little MB experience.
HeLp!

MI RASTER X-Files

1999-09-22 Thread Shannnon Skistad

> I have some raster files of germany. Of course not the entire country in
one raster file, but broken down into littler sections. They, of course,
use a Gause-Krueger Zone 3 projection, the vector file i am using to match it
up with a Lat/long DH.. THE question is:
>
> 1. how can i combine certain tiles of my raster data into one file to
display it? I just want to join between 4 and 5 to get one area. Erdas Imagine
can do this buy tiling or joining them together...
>
> 2. Who do i get the silly vector file to be all crooked looking? I've
tried adding more control point to no avail.
> 3. Isnt there some way to convert the erdas imagine raster file.img into
mapinfo? i DO have the entire map put together in the form i want it
already and could convert it. that is IF I KNEW HOW.

table>update column. that part runs smoothly. When though, i would like to change the

columns. But when i save copy as ... under a new table name and then open
it a new, the columns appear and i can then rename the columns. This is a
very tedious process. Any one got any suggestions?

MI SQL prblms

1999-09-14 Thread Shannnon Skistad

i need some help!

1. I would like to find the density of customers per postal code area. The
first problem i have is that my customer data is it's own file with x & y
coordinates. My postal code data is a normal vector data. I want to select
those cusomber within the individual postal code areas. I've written the
following where statement:

postalcode.obj contains customer.obj

and what happens is that a lot of the postal code areas register no
customers, but infact i can see that they should have a very high density.

HELP
