MI Distributing own MapInfo-based software
Dear all, i've written an "integrated mapping" VB6.0 program which uses MapInfo (4.5.2) prof. Now the time has come to distribute the software to colleques. So, is there a kind of "run-time" module of MapInfo existing which i might distribute along with my VB software in compliance with the license? Importing ASCII raster files into MI
Dear All, Possibly the only problem is my minor capability in working with raster files in MI. A raster map in ASCII format (866 x 654 integer data points) was given to me. I just want to visualize the data after applying various filter algorithms to it. So does there a way exist in MI to import ASCII based text files. Or, if not, is there any free software available which is capable of translating such an ASCII file into a commonly (and in MI) used picture file format? Importing Arc/Info Data into MI
Dear All, I am looking for the best way to transfer Arc/Info vector coverages to MI. Are there alternatives to the usage of the e00-format and the ArcLink tool? If so, what are the advantages of those possibilities? Beta of MI 5.5
Dear All, First of all I would like to thank you for your replies to my question about Errors Overlaying Objects... with MI 4.5.2. Some of you suggested to try MI 5.5 since version 4.5.2 includes some shortcomings in the algorithms of splitting layers. Is the beta version of MI 5.5 still available? We would like to check whether this version does not reveal the same problems. If so, we will not hesitate to cross update to MI 5.5 since we urgently need the splitted maps. Regards, T.
