I don't have your answer but can give you hope, Garfile uploads beatifully
to my Garmin 12cx, tracks and waypoints.
Someone will have the answer for you.

I'm having problems uploading waypoints from a MI table to a Garmin 12XL
using Garfile freeware. ( Downloading is great and the results are
surprinsing)
The test table contains a single point with the only attribute being the
object id (10). The table is saved with the lat/long wgs84 projection and
exported as a MIF file.
The transfert is done but the GPS unit gives me the following message:
RECEIVED AN INVALID WPT.
Any help welcomed.
