Yes, the same happend to me yestarday.. Rainer - Original Message - From: "Hughes, Colleen / Don Mitchell" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, December 10, 2004 3:48 PM Subject: MI-L MapInfo ProViewer 7.8 error Hi Listers, Has anyone else had this problem?? Got an update email from MapInfo to download the new ProViewer v7.8. Downloaded it OK. Tried to extract...ERROR message "C:\...\ProViewer78.exe is not a valid Win32 application". Now I am running WinXP SP2, and the system requirements are for XP SP1a. Think this might be the problem. If so, will v7.0 work with WORs and TABs made in MapInfo v7.8? Any of the MapInfo development team have any answers? Anyone else? MI-L Datum topographical maps Uganda
We would like to integrate some topographical maps (Series Y 732 1:50 000 and Series Y503 1:250 000) from Uganda in our GIS. The spheroide is the same for all maps (Clark modified 1880) but the datum is different: "New (1950) Arc" for the mapsheets publicated 1960 "New (1960) Arc" for the mapsheets publicated 1972 I cannot believe that they have modified the datum between the different editions. Does anybody know which datum I have to use to register the mapsheets? What is the difference between the datums "New (1950) Arc" and "New (1960) Arc" ?
