I believe this is the ideal time to disclose any change in the logo before the final version. It would be interesting to launch an online vote to the proposal that we already have? (We can fit all the logos on the wiki so that s for a vote - http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Marketing/Branding/Ideas) ... An online Vote would be a good idea i think, but we should give it enough time, so print magazines can write about it. So we should think 2+ months here. It would be nice should we be able to use the new logo when the relese version is ready, but i do not think we have enough time and i do not think it will hurt us when 3.3 is official and we do decide on the new logo later. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to marketing+h...@libreoffice.org List archive: http://www.libreoffice.org/lists/marketing/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***
Re: [libreoffice-marketing] Press Kit -- what should there be in the LO press kit?

I, however, would like to decided that when needed. We promised openness and transparency, and should fulfill that whereever possible. the pirate party of germany had an open list and an open wiki to create and talk about press releases. it did backfire in all possible ways. we had vandalism, presspeople trying to get a pressrelease earlier*, very long discussions with people not in the pressteam (making the release late) now we use our own etherpad server (http://www.piratenpad.de/) and are very happy with it. *and thus printing wrong things because they used one version that was not nearly ready to be released and contained things ony backed by one lone party member -- Mein Wiki für Existenzgründer: http://g-wiki.de http://piratenblog.wordpress.com http://twitter.com/_ralph_ -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to marketing+h...@libreoffice.org List archive: http://www.libreoffice.org/lists/marketing/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***
[libreoffice-marketing] introduction
Hi, my Name is Ralph Hunderlach and i was told by Florian Effenberger there is still help needed. I hope i can provide some help. I have made some experience as organizer and helper of the trader and exhibitor parts for some conventions of the german anime club Animexx*, press officer of the german pirate party, and managed the wikipedia boot at the systems trade show in munich. All of those for several years. Should there be more questions, just ask. Ralph. * http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animexx ** http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Systems -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to marketing+h...@libreoffice.org List archive: http://www.libreoffice.org/lists/marketing/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***
