Hi Tom,

Yes, I'm not a specialist to handle movies or such kind of
marketing materials, so I believe you're right.
Thanks for giving a good advice.

Italo, I have changed my mind, the video should within 3 minutes.

We'll use it it the first track of our miniconf, and play on the
table during each break time.

And possibly we'll upload "Japanese captioned" version on YouTube
after the miniconf, so could you make sure the License?
CC-BY-SA 3.0 might be suitable.

Thanks again for all kindness,

Great! It must be a really nice gift for our community.
Hmm... 5 minutes enough I think because our miniconf will have too
tight scheduled track (little sad, but it will be just first step).

And if possible, could you give me a transcript of the video with
itself?
It will help us to create Japanese caption on it.

Thanks to let me know. It's totally my fault. I fixed it now.

Thanks!

I have added the "LinuxCon Japan 2013" to the events calendar[2]. If there
will be a LibreOffice booth or representation, could I also add you as the
contact person for this event? If, for now, you do not know if anyone will
represent LibreOffice, I will just post that the plans are pending.

Alright. Pending to post is good judgement I think. Thanks.

Right now, I want to send cfp about next free end-users computing
not only desktop but also mobile, tablet, ... I might touch about LibreOffice
maybe, but I'm not sure the program committee will accepts or not.
And also I hope some marketing ppl also send cfp about LibreOffice for the
event, but currently it's not fixed.

But still I want to keep the event in Wiki page because I want to see you
LibreOffice guys in the conference. Can I?

Please do, this is what the calendar is for. Even if we are not
attending, we would like to keep a record of events that we missed so
that we can better plan for next year's event.

I have updated the event on the website calendar.

BTW ... I also corrected the menu line on the JA wiki page[3] by adding the
following wikitext to the top of the ja wiki page:

{{TopMenu/ja}} {{Menu/ja}}{{Lang}}

Please note that you can also change your page title by just adding it to
the "{{Lang}}" part, just like this: {{Lang|This is my new page title}}

Let me know if you need any help with this. (Please note that previous to
the change, the wiki page just had "{{Lang}}" at the top of the page).

It's a time now, could you please put them on the calendar?

Thanks,

Hi Marc,

Just to add to this, if there are any events happening in JA, leave a note
here on the marketing list and we will add them to our Events Calendar
(website and wiki). This will give you more exposure for your group.[1]

Alright,

Last year we had been attended lots of Open Source events in Japan,
and we had hosted several LibreOffice-only events.
Here[1] is a Japanese wiki page, but you can understand how many
events we had :)

So my idea is we'll choose these kinds of events:

1) hosted by Japanese LibreOffice community
2) not hosted by LibreOffice, but international

about such events, I'll add information in Wiki[2], and also post
here.

Now we have tree events, see wiki [2] and if you need additional
information please let me know.

And... if someone in this list (actually LibreOffice ppl) have a
plan to come to Japan, preparing casual meet-up is our pleasure.

Thanks,

That is wonderful, thanks! We'll put any future events like those on our
events calendar. It is great to hear your community being so active.

BTW, if you do have an event, feel free to ask on this list if any
developer presenters or any marketing presenters (such as Italo or
Charles or ...) would be available to visit/speak at your events. They
may have time to fly out to speak at a event/conference.

BTW, I checked the JA events wiki page, the first two events, in the
comments column, the links do not lead to a wiki page -- there is an
extra character at the end or your link on the wiki page that you should
remove to make the weblink work.

I will put these on the event calendar once the weblinks are fixed. Let
me know if you need help fixing these.

Have a great new year's day.

Cheers,

Marc

Hi Naruhiko,

Naruhiko, don't hesitate to report here what you're are doing, your
initiatives or anything you're putting in place. It's very interesting
for all of us and help us to learn how to put the same things in place
in our own language.

Thanks again,

Thanks to you and your community for the great investment in LibreOffice.
Kind regards
Sophie
