 = PyCon NA =

 [https://us.pycon.org/2016/ PyCon North America] is happening in Portland,
 Oregon, from May 28th to June 5th. This is a major Python event just on
 the horizon where we will be able to execute some of these marketing
 materials and talking points firsthand.

 = Brochure comments =

 decause left some comments about the brochure during and after the meeting
 for some brainstorming.

 == Replacing subtitle text ==

 * '''Subtitle text''': "A love story involving Python and Fedora"
  * Suggestion 1:
   * Line 1: In a Relationship with Python
   * Line 2: Since November 2003
  * Suggestion 2: Together, Forever, since 2003

 == Leading edge ==

 There is a double leading edge on inside panel of "Developing Python on
 Fedora".

 == Mission statement ==

 Replacing…

 "Fedora incorporates leading-edge..."

 …with…

 "The Fedora Project's mission is to lead the advancement of Free and open
 source software and content as a collaborative community."

 = Next up! =

 After this, we're going to focus on generating some static talking points
 about Fedora in Python, probably somewhere on the wiki of something of
 that nature doesn't already exist.

is resolved. There was a filter to allow anything with the

[Marketing] Proposed Changes Profiles - What are they?

2016-04-06 Thread Justin W. Flory

Hi all,

One more confusing item in our task list for the F24 release:

https://fedorapeople.org/groups/schedule/f-24/f-24-marketing-tasks.html

In the list, it mentions "Proposed Changes Profiles". Searching the wiki
for more information about this didn't turn up any results. Anyone also
happen to know what these are? Can either be a link to documentation or
an explanation on the list to be converted to a wiki page.

Thanks!

[Marketing] Request for Review: "BrickHack 2016 and Fedora"

2016-04-06 Thread Justin W. Flory

Hello all,

I just finished writing the final draft of "BrickHack 2016 and Fedora:
Event Report". It is currently pending review on the Community Blog.

https://communityblog.fedoraproject.org/?p=1143=1&_ppp=8106af5d37

I was hoping to get some feedback about the post from others and have
someone take a quick read to give a +1 / -1 on this post. It's on the
longer side, so I understand if you someone doesn't have the time for a
full edit – just some comments back would be enough!

I am also CCing the Marketing list on this one in case anyone from the
Magazine team can look over this too. I'm planning to make a wrapper
post for the Magazine once I finish working with project participants on
publishing their interviews on the Community Blog.

Thanks all!
