[Marketing] [Minutes] [2016-06-22] Marketing retrospective, F24 press, future of Docs, and more!

2016-06-22 Thread Justin W. Flory

Hey all,

Figured I'd try a new, slightly less robotic form of sending out meeting
minutes with a brief summary of the discussions in the top. Today's
meeting mostly focused on writing the upcoming Marketing retrospective
to analyze how we did this release cycle. Gabri helped write the first
one in many years for 2015, and we'd like to continue doing that this
release as well.

Additionally, we're trying to round up any links for all press on F24 so
far. This will fit into the Marketing retrospective wiki page once it's up.

Finally, there's a lot of juicy info on the future of the Docs team,
where, and how they publish their content. There is a slight overlap
with the Magazine which is why we covered this tonight.

Check out the minutes for more info below!

[Marketing] Re: Update on the Fedora QA series

Hey

I would like to have an update about the Fedora QA series. I have one article

Thanks

Hi Sumantro,

I just had a chance to review your article on organizing Fedora Test
Days. I have a final draft of the article at the link below.

https://communityblog.fedoraproject.org/?p=1667=1&_ppp=2ecd1d879b

I had a few questions remaining for the article, and I left these in
comments through the article. Do you think you would be able to better
clarify some of these points for readers or explain some of the concepts
mentioned? This will help out anyone who isn't familiar with the entire
process already or doesn't know what everything is.

I also was going to try uploading your screenshots separately to the
article since they were a low resolution, but I couldn't find a location
for higher resolution screenshots. Would you be able to send links for
where to find higher resolution screenshots we can use in the article?

Thanks for your time working on this!
