Fantastic, and welcome! I think you'll have a lot of fun working with
this group.

I have only a vague awareness of marketing and branding concepts, so I
probably won't be bringing any big ideas to the group. I'd like to be
able to write an article for the Magazine from time to time, attend a
meeting on the off chance that I have time for it, and generally just
 learn from the experience.

All of those things sound awesome. If you have an idea for an article,
please just run with it and send a note to the list that you're working
on it. When you have the first piece in hand, we can help you get an
account set up in WordPress and get it published.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Best,

jzb

Introducing Pete Travis to the Marketing group

Hi all,

I've threatened to contribute some content to Fedora magazine several
times, and have finally decided to get the ball rolling :)

I've been more or less involved with the project for a couple years now,
as I have time. For the most part, I hack on documentation and help on
IRC. Sometimes I offer opinions in community discussions, too.

I have only a vague awareness of marketing and branding concepts, so I
probably won't be bringing any big ideas to the group. I'd like to be

Hello Pete!
It's very nice to see you also here.
I'm pretty sure your contribution will be very important, both for
involving people in the magazine and in docs project.

I follow your work in your group and having you here is awesome.

See you soon.
