Why not a story of the GSoC winners visiting Google? I saw a great
photo on the SL facebook page just now.

 Hi SL marketing team,

My company has an unused press release credit which will expire
soon and which I could use for Sugar Labs. Distribution is PR Newswire
 in
English for US market. If you have a topical message to get out (GSoC?
latest Sugar version? a deployment?), or even just an “alive & kicking”
 message, I can assist.

Re: [Marketing] Press release credit available

2019-12-04 Thread Sean DALY
Hi,

Unless I missed something, I didn't see any followup on this

My credits expire at the end of the year, which really means in the next
couple of weeks because no one sends press releases to the wires between
Christmas and New Year
's Day

As stated previously, I can assist

Possible topics: GCI, creation of SLI, which could be in separate releases.
FOSDEM presence could be mentioned for example.

Please let me know if you have any interest, these releases go through PR
Newswire and become persistently indexed in search engines, even years later

Note that a telephone number will be required for the designated press
contact

1, Sugar Labs, on a mission to educate the masses through FOSS -
 Overview of the year/work done
 2. Another topic, summarising our outreach work and conferences.
Especially PyCon US, now recently PyCon SG (Need a title)
 3. Writing about topics that would appeal and attract contributors and
 supporters,
 4. Recent Deployments especially highlighting Music blocks and
Sugarizer with a focus to work being done in GSoC

Do let me know which of these topics we can brainstorm on. Some topics
