Wow, that's cool :) Let's hope that we'll have a big marker to actually
write our name, too ;-)

I haven't received the boxes yet. I may do that if I receive them early
enough. I assume that they are already installed and I only have to
upgrade them to the latest version. I also assume they are running
Fedora (which is, AFAIK, the closest to GNOME upstream). Should I switch
to Rawhide or do something else?

A few of these could be helpful in the devroom too (along with a few
multiplugs(?)). Dunno if someone living in Brussels can provide these?
I'll try to bring a few otherwise

I've also ordered and received 100 GNOME nametag stickers so that we

I'll do like last time: generally always around once at FOSDEM. This
year slightly different, as I'll hang out at Mageia as well.

Could you please update the wiki page:
https://live.gnome.org/GnomeEventsBox/Schedule and contact
ad...@collabora.com for shipment details.
After FOSDEM, I will most likely take the EventBox to Germany to have it
ready for CeBIT in March. The schedule doesn't indicate that the box is
needed meanwhile. If there is any event where the box is needed, please
make yourself heard.

Hi,

So fosdem has come and gone and in the end my fears where unfound,
because there where lots of great people helping out.

But i noticed there hasn't been a fosdem post on panet.gnome.org, well
there of course have been mentions, but no real post about the stand.

I just made a post about it detailing a few things we did and what
happened, but my blog doesn't get syndicated by p.g.o. So if anyone
would be so inclined to just copy paste the fosdem stuff and post it on
p.g.o or link to it or whatever. Because i think having these kinds of
messages on p.g.o, sends a really positive message about what the people
of gnome are doing, and might inspire others to do the same.

Hi,

That's great.
I don't think there are any timetables and i recon there won't be any
real need for it either. Well not officially on paper anyway. We'll
probably work some sort of schedule out in the morning about who wants
to see what talk and how those clash. But mostly its just a matter of
are there enough people at the table for me to be able to leave it.

But if you just come to the stand when you feel like it, you can help us
out. Then when you want to see a talk or do something else you can just
go your way. Unless of course we collectively chose that moment to make
a mad dash for it and leave you there alone :)
