Haymarket also published last year two books by Serge: "Witness to the
German Revolution" [of 1923]:
http://www.haymarketbooks.org/pb/Witness-to-the-German-Revolution and
"Revolution in Danger: Writings from Russia, 1919-21":
http://www.haymarketbooks.org/pb/Revolution-in-Danger, which includes the
essay "The Endangered City" (i.e., Petrograd in 1919).

Both originally published by RedWords, a publishing venture associated
with the British SWP. Translated by my comrade Ian Birchall.

Ugh. That reminds me. I have a copy of "Revolution in Danger" that I was
supposed to review, along with "Witnesses to Permanent Revolution".
Well, I retire in 2 weeks. After that, I will get on the stick. Of
course, the way that my mind flits from project to project...

They are re-translating and re-publishing a lot of Serge's wonderful
writings. It's quite a good project.

This isn't a re-translation - the original 1965 (?) Oxford University
Press edition was abridged when it was first published. this edition is
a re-publication of Sedgwick's translation supplemented by a translation
of the parts left-out of the OUP edition by my comrade George Paizis.

The other books listed on the page linked above are also re-publications
of already existing translations and even the latest translation listed
- Richard Greeman's translation of "Unforgiving Years" - was published 4
years ago.

Incidentally, a number of list members are quoted in the descriptions of
the individual books linked to from this page.
