Derrick stuck with Barnes & gang for a long time after most of us had  
either left or been kicked out. I'm curious who's next to show up  
outside the SWP. And if the last one to leave will turn out the lights.

Thanks for  posting this.

Derrick and I were room mates in Philadelphia in the seventies.

I have fond memories of Derrick listening intently to Joni Mitchell's
"The Blue Album." His intellectual tastes were and I am sure still are
extremely broad ranging.

I can hope now that I might see him at Labor Notes or some such venue.

I don't see anything by Derrick at MIA, but he is mentioned in
Breitman's significant article:
