As longer-term readers of this list might recall, a few years ago I
began a close reading of Marx's Capital. As I came to the end of volume
2, in the light of what I had read I began revising my reading notes for
volume 1. Previously, I had made my notes available through, amongst
other places, this list. This time, as I revised, I decided to publish
my notes online - hence the blog. Up to now, the first three parts of
chapter 1 (chapters 1 to 11) are up. In the next week or so, I intend to
get the rest of volume 1 up. Then, and more slowly (as I revise what I
think), I will start on volumes 2 and 3.

As this is an ongoing project, and as something this complex needs
necessarily to be collective, all constructive comments and criticisms
are welcome.
