This entry needs updating! I've given the Liszt site the address for lists
at virginia and it should catalogue them via its 'spider'. However, it might
be an idea for the list owners to contact Liszt and add their lists
individually.

NB The Thaxis site address is:
http://host.bip.net/thaxis/

M-TH: Thaxis web site

1999-09-21 Thread r.i.p

Hi Rob,

Are we getting new subscribers via the web site? I've tried to make sure
that it gets picked up by the search engines but there's a lot of competing
sites out there!

BTW: Anyone got any tips on getting it better? What would Thaxians like to
see included?

I always check that things work in the old browsers like Netscape 2.0. Because their
are a lot of people on line (especially in the third world including cyber cafes) who
are running old machines with small hard disks. I also make it a point not to use
frames or Java and all the rest because of the above.

Let me know the address to the new site and I will link it to all of my pages.

M-TH: Thaxis Web Site

1999-06-15 Thread Anonymous

How do Thaxians,

Is the content agreed for the Thaxis web site- if so can it be posted up
for any last amendments and for me to get cracking on with it?

And where will it reside?- on Utah's site, if so would it be possible for
ftp access to be granted to the folder holding the material so I can
maintain/update it?

Ta.

PS any views on system requirements- ie different editions of browsers
allow to do more things, but the newer browsers sometimes won't run on old
machines. Anyone here still using Navigator 2 frinstance?
And should it be made to fit in a 600x480 screen resolution - for an
example of one that don't see James' LM site: http://www.informinc.co.uk
and for one that fits in, Bob's site: http://home.bip.net/malecki/
(I prefer to work to a 600x800 resolution but some people get upset if they
have to scroll from left to right on small monitors)
