align='center'  gives an error

Also this solution is not perfect for negative bars as 
the text is located just *inside* the bar, rather than
just *below* it.

Cannot you just add the counts manually? E.g.

x,y = arange(5),randn(5)
bar(x,y, align='center')
for i in range(5):
 text(x[i],y[i],'%f' % y[i], horizontalalignment='center')

[Matplotlib-users] 64-bit Windows binaries?

Are matplotlib 64-bit Windows binaries available anywhere on the net?  I'm
running 64-bit Python (2.3 and 2.4) and I'm having trouble finding a
compatible matplotlib to use with it.
