Re: Power flow and generation power limit
I mean Pmin and Pmax is not accounted in load flow analysis. On Sat, 11 Feb 2023, 9:10 am Dr. D. Re: Power flow and generation power limit
Load flow analysis do not take real power constraints. Reactive power constraints you can include for generations. runpf and generation limit
Hello everyone, I am a bit new to MATPOWER, I am a bit confused about the working of "runpf()" command. Does it check the active and reactive power generation limit constraints of synchronous generators? Because as a test case I decrease the Pmax on generations but still runpf() converges although the available capacity of generations is not met. Please see the screenshot below. Any help will be appreciated, Thank you, Nadeem
Power flow and generation power limit
Hello everyone, I am a bit new to MATPOWER, I am bit confused about the working of "runpf()" command. Does it checks the active and reactive power generation limit constraints of synchronous generator? Because as a test case i decrease the Pmax on generations but still runpf() converges although the available capacity of generations are not met. Please see the screenshot below. Any help will be appreciated, Thank you, Nadeem
