It would be an enhancement if mc would allow dash/ash users to configure the prompt themselves. The dash prompt is quite simple and basic - it only allows constants. When I'm in a folder with many entries (for instance, processing a bunch of new photos) I'd like to get a sense of how far I am. Am I a quarter, half, or mostly finished paging through the files? Does such an indicator option exist for mc?
