[bug #17268] Shift+Enter weirdness
Follow-up Comment #5, bug #17268 (project mc): Inserting literal newlines when Shift+Enter is pressed in an input box is actually a side effect. The input box widget uses the keyboard modifiers as a flag to enable processing of pasted text (Shift-Ins, Shift-Mouse). This processing includes converting the newlines that come from the input channel to literal newlines. So applying a fix for Shift-Enter in the input widget (WInput) would break the processing of multi-line pasted text. IMO pasting multiline text in single-line widget is not very usefull but still its there... Comments are welcome. ___ Reply to this item at: http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitemitem_id=17268 ___ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ ___ Mc-devel mailing list http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/mc-devel
