Thanks a lot.
The TinyCoreLinux extension of MC 4.8.1 was posted on the extension server of 
this distro.
I loaded it.
It runs!

Please, try to use latest releases, such as 4.7.5.6 or 4.8.1

This know bug and was fixed in these releases.
