Adhere to corporate control policies throughout design, development and
testing and incorporate architectural standards into application design

Document the detailed application specifications, translate technical
requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance
software application modules
Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to
pre-defined architectural standards
Identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues and review and provide
feedback to the final user documentation
Ensure service level availability of the applications and provide on-call
support (24x7)
Interface with corporate IT area for tasks ranging from standard software
release (SDLC) process to planning server changes and architectural upgrades
Design and implement new data flows

 Qualifications
Minimum ten years of Application Development and Analysis work experience
Minimum of six years of PL SQL
Proven track record developing and maintaining large scale, mission
critical, model based financial analytical  applications
Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills
Experience working with, managing and manipulating large (1Tb+) data stores
Person should have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Person should be very strong in Oracle database:  architecting database
solution and design, data modeling, data analysis and developing tables,
packages, stored procs, functions, views, trigger, performance and tuning,
etc..
Experience in Unix Shell Script programming
Proficient in change control software (Subversion)
Excellent communication skills are essential
Experience working in or supporting a Finance department
Understanding of other technology skills will be plus, including Hyperion
Essbase and reporting tools
IT experience in Financial Industry background will be plus
APEX experience is a plus
