Minimum ten years of hands on experience in designing and implementing large scale enterprise class business solutions, including five years experience in architecture/design. MA/MS degree preferred. Six years experience in health care industry preferred with strong understanding of core and supporting business applications. • Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of Healthcare systems. Experience with migrations from an enterprise architecture perspective is strongly preferred. • Must have proficiency in the techniques that produce designs of complex IT systems, including requirements discovery, analysis, documentation and communication, formulation of the solution, identification of alternatives and assessment of those alternatives • Must have experience with all aspects of projects from ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production. • Must have enterprise architecture background - one who understands conceptual, logical and reference architecture patterns and principles and is able to document these. • Must have experience in the layout and architecture planning for migration and integrating multiple platforms (mainframe, client server, distributed systems, software packages and custom applications). • Must have excellent Visio diagramming skills and documentation skills. • Proficient in working with the business and application teams to develop effective solutions to business problems. • Strong and effective in interpersonal skills including leadership and mentoring. • Ability to work in a team environment and to deliver on commitments in a timely fashion. • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
