Job Tittle # of Position Job Description Qualifications HW Test Engineering -Level 3 2 Design verification activities to design quality into our products. Activities include develop and execution test plans and procedures. Perform functional, stress, system, and other types of testing. Identification of test tool requirements, and participation in specification and design reviews. Must be able to execute tests with little to no supervision. Find complex bugs, root cause and track them while recording and informing others of all appropriate and relevant info. Be responsible for the complete end to end verification of our products. Participate in the development of our products from product inception to mass production. Sequence and prioritize product feature tests and ensures that there is adequate time for test coverage, trade-off decisions, and the timely completion of high-quality work. Develops, reviews, updates, and executes test plans for complex feature areas or products. Creates new data analysis tools and performs Measurement System Analysis on test and metrology equipment. Creates data collection templates to support test plans and increase data analysis efficiency. Uses statistical techniques to analyze test data against product requirements. Generates comprehensive test reports to communicate test results. Performs root cause analysis on verification test failures to influence product design changes to meet the product requirements. Identifies and escalates product risks from verification testing and data analysis. Develops and fabricates test fixturing to support verification testing. ۰BS, MS or PhD in EE required and/or ۰15+ years of relevant experience. ۰Strong electrical engineering fundamentals. ۰Knowledge of Visual Basic or C/C++. ۰Demonstrates strong design and/or test skills. ۰Demonstrates managing through ambiguity, and technical problem solving skills. ۰Excellent interpersonal, influencing, leadership, verbal and written communication skills required. ۰Hands-on experience in the development of high-volume consumer electronic product is desired. ۰Demonstrated ownership of multiple sub-systems and/or a complete simple product (Simple = Mouse or iPod shuffle) and/or experience launching multiple moderately complex to complex consumer electronic products: Moderately Complex = Smart TV/DVD, Complex = smart phone/Xbox. ۰Demonstrated system engineering ownership of a moderately complex to complex product - Moderately Complex = Smart TV/DVD, Complex = smart phone/Xbox and/or Hands-on experience launching multiple complex consumer electronic products - Complex = Smart Phone/Xbox.
