The Database Administrator is also responsible for database environmental aspects like recoverability, integrity, security, availability and performance. Database infrastructure builds. Build and deploy Oracle databases to production to support eBay business. Additionally upgrade GoldenGate software on production. The contractor will be responsible for creating, configuring and deploying databases to production, upgrading databases to 11g and in the end ensuring the new databases run well on the live site, meeting the availability and performance SLA’s to the business. We’ll need 5-7 years’ experience as a DBA, Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent. What are the Top Three Skills needed to perform this role/job?
